Broad Functions:
In partnership with Operations team this position is responsible for creating and maintaining a high level of customer service within the plaza; reports directly to the Service Center Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities Greet all customers in a welcoming and friendly manner, answer all of their questions and concerns, and perform a minimum of 10 surveys (table touches) a day Be a role model for the highest level of customer service with extensive site, local, and state knowledge by answering any questions customers may have and supplying maps to surrounding areas Be an active change agent with positive influence in the culture around process changes, improvements, and communications.
Support events and partnerships hosted on site with local businesses and charities Enhance and develop current retail space by maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked merchandise and brochure area Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills and Education:
High School Diploma required Associates Degree preferred Strong customer service skills Knowledgeable of Maryland geography and tourism markets Ability to communicate and speak one-on-one and exchange information using strong written and verbal skills Ability to work without direct supervision during long periods of time Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail Ability to work with a diverse population Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, maneuvering through the internet and using technology Physical Demands:
