Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a warehouse or distribution clerk role.
The primary responsibilities of the Shipping Clerk are to utilize multiple systems such as KCS and Pink to track outbound containers and product.
Prioritize loads based on shipping time.
Utilize excel and google sheets to track overages, shortages and damages.
This includes problem solving and communicating with team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SHIPPING CLERK:

People, Quality, Service and Innovation Day-Shift Shipping Clerk position with a base schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:
00am-4:
45pm (Overtime possible- work is done once all doors are closed) The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately processing outbound shipments within designated systems in order to provide a quality customer service experience Review manifests for accuracy and ensure all product is shipped The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for communicating within the team to report damages and discrepancies.
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating with Department Leads and Leaders as necessary to stay current with order status and priorities in order to plan shipments Ensure all labels are properly placed on packages Record damages, overages and shortages Record Lane errors Process shipping reports daily to determine which orders are shipping.
Comply with individual, team and department productivity, and performance goals Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws Abide by all company policies and procedures All other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS OF THE SHIPPING CLERK:
One year of warehouse or distribution clerk experience preferred Excel and/or google sheets expired is required Experience with inventory tracking software Ability to prioritize and multitask Basic mathematics and reading skills Strong understanding of inventory flow Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE RECEIVING CLERK:
Position entails prolonged standing, sitting, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs when needed Job Type:
